IS THE ARK IN EGYPT?
Shortly after settling in Spain, Gerry and Mary got to know about a group of Jews in Gibraltar that met to study the Bible. Motivated by their desire to encounter someone to help them make more sense of their experiences, they learned that a, Mati Ronen and his wife Yudit, were professors at an Israeli University, studying paranormal phenomena. They requested that they should visit them. Because of this, in October, 1994, the Cannons set foot for he first time on Israeli soil, bringing Joyce's psychic drawings, that indicated a point where ( according to Mosec ) the Ark is to be found. In a visit to Mount Sinai, where Moses ordered the construction of the sacred relic. During this excursion, Gerry spoke to some Egyptian guides, asking them about the place that Mosec had pointed out on the map. One of them knew that part of Egypt, mentioning that it was a desert area, with lots of small hills and caves, that appeared and disappeared depending on the intensity of the sandstorms. Inside them, skeletons have been found as they were used in the past as tombs. Gerry then showed them Joyce's drawing of the area in the desert. He was very surprised that the guide confirmed the existence of this place, as he it confirmed Mosec´s information of that area.
This was not the only surprise of their trip . Whilst in the Ronens' company, the Cannons met a spiritual healer and psychic named Menorah, who invited them to her home. Whilst there, Gerry went into meditation and in a trance, Mosec came through. It is impotent to point out that this Jewish psychic did not know the details of the story.
The Session was entirely recorded. Menorah confirmed the details that they already knew, about the theft of the Ark, the attempt to open it, the immediate death of the group of soldiers and their subsequent burial in the sandstorm and where it happened , which is something that even today, only Gerry knows.

Some weeks later, after their return to Spain, there was another automatic writing experience This time, the "vehicle" was not Gerry but Dawn, the daughter of a neighbour who knew nothing about his psychic experience. Whilst in a relaxed state, Dawn began to tell Gerry that he is involved in something to do with the Ark of the Covenant. With her eyes closed, she drew the relic which did have a close resemblance to the biblical description. |
| Two days later, she visited the Cannon's house, bringing a psychic portrait, that she drew in trance. According to her, this represented Gerry's guide. This was similar to that which Joyce had drawn (although Dawn´s drawing was not as artistic as the one that Joyce had drawn ). | ![]() |

Again, in his right eye, there is the same shape of triangle to that Joyce had first drawn, which Gerry compared to the Sinai Peninsula. |
When asked for the name of the guide, the young medium said it began with the letter A and ended with a "K", it sounds something like MISIK. Gerry wrote several similar spelling of names, including Mosec on a piece of paper. Out of the list, Dawn immediately chose Mosec !
He had written to the now deceased Israeli prime minister, Isaac Rabin because he believes that the Israeli government, should ask permission from the Egyptian authorities, to carry out the expedition. In his opinion, when the Ark is found, it should be returned to Jerusalem. He explained that it should occupy it's rightful place, underneath a transparent dome in what would be the Third Temple, as a meeting place for Arabs, Christians and Jews. Something that is apparently difficult in view of the political relations between these countries at the moment .One never knows how things will turn out and if the statements by this strange Englishman , living on the Costa del Sol turn out correct, then the speculations of hundreds of historians and archaeologists would all tumble to the ground. As always, time will tell, one way or the other..
AT THE MOMENT GERRY IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SPONSOR THE PROJECT... SO THAT A SEARCH AND EXCAVATIONS COULD BE MADE IN EGYPT.
