WAS THE THIEF OF THE TREASURE A TORMENTED SPIRIT?

The following night, back at the artist's house, something else happened, which would repeat itself frequently from then on. For the first time in his life, Gerry went into trance and began to speak with a distorted voice. The entity expressing itself through him, said it was “ MOSEC ”, a tormented spirit that felt guilty for having taken part in the robbery. Gerry could not recall what was said. The trance was repeated many times, when the story of Mosec, was gradually unraveled,. Apparently he was an officer, who was given orders to steal the Ark. Having done this and warned not to look inside it. Mosec set out for Egypt with a group of six hundred soldiers, who guarded the treasure. When asked, who had ordered him to do this, Mosec could not or did not want to say, although he continued to tell part of the story.

It seemed that one night, when they were camping in the desert, he got drunk and decided to open the Ark. According to what he explained, this was his last act on earth . For, no sooner had he done this, than both he and his men died immediately from a sudden sandstorm which buried them all, including the treasure that was in his custody. Mosec said nothing about where the Ark is situated exactly but insisted over and over again that his “AGENT ” (presumably Gerry), knows where it is.
