We're in Galicia, the autonomía (autonomous region) in northwest Spain. Galicia consists of 4 provinces and we're in Coruña province. If you look at your own atlas, you'll see the largest city in this region (A Coruña, La Coruña, or Corunna). You also see the city of Ferrol (or El Ferrol). The nearest small town is Betanzos (pop. about 12,000), about halfway between A Coruña and Ferrol.

We moved to Spain in October '97 and rented a house at the beach in Miño while we built a house - way out in the country. We finally moved into the new house in October '99. The property was once the community-owned site for fiestas held by Ambroa Parish. That's the only reason that there was electric service available at the lot.

Of course, that doesn't give you enough information to find us, so here are the details:

- Galicia is one of 17 Spanish Autonomous Regions and is in northwest Spain.
- A Coruña is a Province in Galicia (It's also the name of the province's largest city
- Irixoa is one of the political subdivisions of A Coruña Province.
- Ambroa is one of the parishes in Irixoa.
- Tiulfe is a 29-house village in Ambroa Parish. It's about 200 yards from here.
- My GPS coordinates are 43.3137N / -8.1122W

Now you know how to get here. If you get lost, just ask anyone in Tiulfe. You can see my house from there.
