Pepa's Crush

Bart, Arnie and Pepa

Pepa was a tiny puppy adopted by Claude Stubbs, who was working for Lockheed-Martin in the Ferrol shipyard in 2005. We met Claude through Marivi's sister, Rosa, who also works there.

When Claude went home for Christmas 2005 Rosa baby-sat Pepa and, on Epiphany, January 6th, she brought Pepa out here for Christmas dinner.

Pepa charmed us all right away. Well, all of us except Bart and Arnie. Bart couldn't figure out how to play with something so small and just tried to ignore her. Arnie was more tolerant, probably because he was flattered that Pepa got a crush on him and followed him everywhere.

When Claude finished his work in Ferrol, he took Pepa back to the USofA to join his family. Pepa's going on two years old now, is doing well in her new country, and reportedly speaks good English with just a trace of an accent.
