Early February was colder than January or December and we got to within a degree of freezing a couple of mornings. When we opened the blinds early on the morning of the 7th we thought it had snowed. But it was only frost. We took two pictures (an hour and a half apart) anyway. (18 days later we did get some snow.)
 

We moved to Spain in October 1997. For the first two years we rented a house at the beach in Miño while we were building a house here in the sticks. Since we arrived we've only had snow twice - in January 2003 and February 2005. That's often enough.
