Our summer fiesta season got off to a good start this year. On June 15th, the Ambroa Parish Neighborhood Association threw a special party for the area youngsters. The fiesta started about 4:00 PM and went on until about 8:00 PM. The kids undoubtedly got home happy but tired.

There aren't a lot of young kids in the parish, but the children of neighboring parishes were also invited. About 60 (children and parents) attended. The party was held at the Ambroa Parish Community Center. You can see from these pictures that the children had a good time.

As usual, the officers of the Neighborhood Association hosted the get-together and worked hard to make sure it was a success. They (and their families) were responsible for setting up the party and entertaining the kids. (Marivi and I still haven't heard any of our neighbors express any appreciation for all the work these unpaid volunteers do on behalf of the entire parish.)
