Last month we posted pictures of Chispa, who had a litter of four puppies. Chispa's owner didn't want to keep the puppies so Marivi contacted APADAN, a volunteer-run animal rescue organization in A Coruña. APADAN asked us to drop them off at a cooperating vet clinic in A Coruña, where APADAN could pick them up later.

On March 23rd Marivi and her sister, Rosa, took 3 of them to the vet. (The 4th had been promised to a neighbor of Chispa's owner.) The people at the vet clinic took one look at the puppies and told Marivi that they were sure they could be adopted directly from the clinic instead of being sent to the animal shelter. This seems like a happy ending to the story - at least as far as our involvement is concerned. But we'll be checking with the vet clinic to find out about the adoptions.

3/28 UPDATE - Today, the vet told Marivi that the female (on the far left) has been adopted into a good home.
